Institutional Notice: TULA Education, headquartered in Philadelphia, PA, operates as an alternative university model, providing a cost-effective pathway to high-quality learning outside the traditional university system, which charges students thousands of dollars for the same education. Instead of conventional degrees offered by many universities without fully preparing students for the job market, TULA issues certificates, diplomas, and institutionally conferred credentials, which serve as academically structured alternatives designed to validate professional and technical competency. While our credentials are not called degrees, they hold a higher weight in the job market because we offer hands-on learning. TULA maintains collaborative partnerships with multiple universities: partner institutions confer accredited degrees, whereas TULA provides credential-based academic recognition for learners who may not have access to, or cannot reasonably afford, the high cost associated with traditional degree-granting universities.

Dr. Owen Kanwen Johnson Tuazama

Born in Liberia, West Africa, Dr. Tuazama journeyed to the United States at age fourteen. His experiences navigating immigration, cultural adaptation, and socioeconomic barriers became the bedrock of his lifelong commitment to equity, justice, and service.
Holding a Doctorate, a PhD in view, multiple MBA degrees, and over 30 awards and commendations, Dr. Tuazama is recognized by the Philadelphia City Council for his leadership in advancing educational equity.
